March 2016 Favourites

These are my March favourites aka things that I enjoyed in the month of March! If you have any questions, do let me know in the comments below.

 Self care/ Beauty products

1. Silky girl Precision Eyeliner pen

I suck at eyeliners. I can never get them right especially if its a liquid liner. Like pshh I'd get it all over my face. Once I even got some on my thighs, how'd that happen I have no idea. Anyhow, silky girl's precision eyeliner is the best of both worlds. It's like a marker pen for the eye. Super easy to use whether you're going for the cat eye or just simple slight eyeliner.

2. Silky girl eyebrow pencil

They say once you start doing your brows, you can never leave home without it. True. SO I got this brow pencil which is dark brown and suits my brows. One small tip, if you have thick brows, then brown is sufficient but if you have scarce brows, you have to mix the black and brown ones so that it'll look natural.

My camera just refused to focus. Cue Focus On Me by Ariana Grande.

3. Maybelline ClearSmooth All in One Shine Free Cake Powder

I hate compact powders cause they always make my face look too caked. But this one blends super well and makes it look natural. The shade that I got was 03 Natural.

4. Safi's Olive oil

Olive oil can be used for everything. It is an amazing makeup remover. If you see my instagram(@fairlyodd_dpka) there is one picture of me in a scary makeup where I had to cake my face with black eyeshadow and dark purple lipstick. I honestly thought it was going to take at least 2 days for it to go off but it took me like 30 minutes to wash everything off with the help of olive oil. I think generally all olive oils are the same but I use Safi which a little to the cheaper side but works amazing still!. I also use it for my hair and nails. It has a lingering nice smell and doesn't make your hair too oily.

5. Beautang Hair tonic
I strongly recommend this hair tonic cause with just 3 uses, my hair falling has deceased immensely. It is super cooling to the scalp and has a nice fresh scent.

 Books
 1. The Lunar Chronicles

This is my favourite book of March. Full review available here.

Apps
1. Piano tiles 2

I am ADDICTED to this. Every day I play after I get up and before I sleep. So, you get the idea.

2. Musical.ly

Musical.ly is kinda like dubsmash but with more functions. I love the effects. i usually use Fast and Lapse and it's super fun although I have zero confidence to share them publicly. They are all safely locked somewhere secret. harhar.

Fragrance
1. Silky girl Sunshine

I own quite a bit of body mists but no EDTs. This EDT is by far the best I've smelled. Lol that sounds weird. Anyhow, I love this EDT and strongly recommend it. Plus, it's super affordable.

2. Bath and body works Warm Vanilla Sugar

Who doesn't love Bath and Body works? I love their range of scents and Warm Vanilla Sugar is one of the best! You will smell like a vanilla scented bakery in a totally wonderful way ofcourse. Trust me on this.

Random
1.   Yeshan Sarees

I love online shopping cause I'm lazy af. And Yeshan sarees is one of the best online saree-selling Instagram account. Very fast dealing, super speed deliveries and the best part, AMAZING SAREE DESIGNS!  Go check them out for amazing deals for beautiful sarees at (@yeshansarees). They are also on periscope where they hold live bidding for sarees to get them for an even cheaper price!

2. Supernatural

I have been binge watching Supernatural throughout the whole month of March and even before that actually. Of course, it's amazing. Half of the world already knows that.

3. Consider Me Dead

CMD is a band from Arizona, USA with members Chris Brewington. Lucas Ludwig and Brandon Pettitt. I stumbled upon them on twitter when one of the members followed me and then I decided to check them out. Their music is super fresh and makes you wanna dance. Their genre is pop/electronic/alternative with songs that have amazing beat and a whole lot of dubstep. It was love at first hearing. I have been raping the repeat button listening to their songs. It really is good. I know their name might be a little bit emo but their music is not. Go follow them on social medias cause they post some amazing things too!
