Thozha Movie Review 2016
I have no technical expertise on how movies are made and hence I will not comment on the cinematography etc. If the camera was placed 45 degrees off, I wouldn't know. Solely based on how it made me feel.
No spoilers ;)
Plot : It was an easy going plot. No major cliffhangers that make you scream internally (Baahubali, take note). The story revolves around Seenu (Karthi) who works as a caretaker to the millionnaire, Vikram(Nagarjuna) who is quadriplegic. I may or may not have cried throughout the movie. SO MUCH FEELS. You know what's difficult? Wiping off your tears in the cinema without the person next to you seeing. Anyhow, that's basically the plot with the side story of Seenu's dysfunctional family.
Music: Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the music of this movie. It was okay. Not horrible but okay.
Cast: TAMANNAH was gorgeous. Her outfit and makeup was on point. She slayed her look. However, she didn't have a prominent part in this movie. So that was kinda sad. Karthi played his part well. THANKS FOR MAKING ME CRY BLERGH. His role was a happy-rulebreaker kinda thing. He was good. Nagarjuna, however killed it. THANKS FOR MAKING ME CRY AGAIN. At some parts of the movie, I just wanted to hug him and ensure him that everything will be alright. He used only his head-face area in this movie cause his body was paralysed and he did an amazing job. Also, there were several unexpected cameos. You'll have to watch the movie to find out.
