SG Shop review and A Special Discount Code!

SG Shop is a Singapore based company which has opened a branch in Malaysia. They are a Taobao agent (google it) who do their business online.

 I will be doing this review in two sections; pros and cons.

 Pros:
1. They have a lot of choices. There's literally everything on their website.

 2. The prices of the goods are mostly very cheap. Like super duper cheap. You have a lot of choices and you can choose the one fitting your budget.

 3. Very clear instructions on their website (www.sgshop.com.my) on how to purchase and how to pay.

 4. You can use credit system or your debit/credit card to pay. The credit system is basically like a top up service where you can top up your account with a certain amount which then can be used to pay for your purchases.

 5. You get notification messages to your phone when the parcel has been received which is great so that I don't have to go online to track my parcel.

 6. The package came to me in a good condition.
 Cons:

1. Delivery time is long. SGshop is an agent. Therefore,once the product is ordered, the seller will first send the product to the SGshop's warehouse at China. From there, it will be repackaged to be sent to Malaysia. This process takes a lot of time. I ordered 7 things on the 5th September and one of it came on the 20th September. Others are yet to arrive.

2. The delivery charges. You have to pay for the delivery charges TWICE. One delivery charge is for the seller who is sending the goods to the China warehouse and the other delivery charge is for from the Warehouse to your house. I chose sellers that do not charge for delivery so I only had to pay for the second charge. 

3. Shipping is based on weight. There are many ways of delivery that you can choose. The cheapest one is RM 10 for the first 500g and RM4 for subsequent 500g. If you buy more than 1 thing, wait for all the things to arrive at the warehouse before shipping it to Malaysia or Singapore. This is to reduce shipping fee. You can even choose to ship each item separately but that will be expensive af. For 7 items, delivery was RM40++. 


 Final verdict: Will I repurchase from this website? Yes because even though their delivery charges are not cheap but their service is gold. Their customer service is always ready to help and they reply your emails immediately. The extra money means that you will be getting your goods in a good condition.
I would give this website 3.5/5.00

 Make sure you check out their website and read/watch their instructions to buy cause it can be quite confusing. www.sgshop.com.my.
